Avalon’s newest ship, the Artistry II, was recently christened in Middleburg, Holland, by Godmother Marilen Sandejas-Yaptangco, CEO and president of Baron Travel in the Philippines. Also present was Stephanie Bishop (r), managing director of the Globus family of brands in Canada. “The Philippines is an increasingly important market for Avalon,” says Bishop. A second new ship for 2013, the Avalon Expression, will be christened next month in Cochem, Germany.
