More than 20,000 Canadians had the chance to enjoy Aruba’s authentic and flavour-rich cuisine at the recent 19th annual Ottawa Travel & Vacation Show. Celebrated as one of the most revisited destinations in the Caribbean and a foodie paradise with local delights ranging from gouda-glazed Keshi Yena to Keri-Keri and Funchi, Aruba invited show attendees to indulge in cuisine prepared by the island’s famous Executive Chef Matt Boland of the Westin Aruba, Resort & Casino. Boland was the only Caribbean chef featured daily on the main food stage, where he provided cooking demonstrations and samples of his popular Pan Bati di Maishi Rabo — with grouper, mango salsa and licorice cream drizzle.
