Ecuador — which counts the Galapagos Islands, the Andes Mountains and Amazon jungle among its tourism draws — recently held a Toronto event to update people on all that’s happening in the country. Nature is a huge draw for Ecuadorean tourism, but tourism authorities also note that the old quarter of Quito has UNESCO World Heritage Site status because of its Spanish colonial architecture.
