A select group of Canadian travel agents, representing Merit Travel, The Travel Group, Thomas Cook, Carlson Wagonlit and more, recently graced Irish soil for Tourism Ireland’s 2012 North American Familiarization Expo in partnership with Air Canada. The 12 Canadian representatives visited some of Ireland’s key attractions as part of a “Jump into Ireland” themed familiarization trip. Highlights included a visit to the Cliffs of Moher, a stay on one of the Aran Islands and a tour of Dun Aengus and driving through Connemara National Park.
