Those attending the event learned not only what’s happening in Thailand’s tourist trade these days, but in other regional countries — such as Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar — as well. Thai tourism authorities reported that their tourism industry is strong, with the country hosting 19.2 million foreign visitors in 2011, 20.6% growth from the previous year.
