Their Royal Highnesses, Prince & Princess Edward, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, recently visited the island of Saint Lucia, a former British colony and member of the British Commonwealth, whose 33rd independence anniversary coincided with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration. As part of the dual celebrations, the two Royal visitors attended various cultural activities and met with Saint Lucia’s Governor General and government officials on the island. Sandals Resorts hosted the Royal couple at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort on Feb. 22 where they were welcomed by Winston Anderson, general manager (r) and the entire Sandals Resorts staff and chatted with guests.
