Total Vacations and the Mexico Tourism Board held a Tuesday night reception in Toronto that promoted the Maya World, which is drawing increased attention as the current Maya calendar comes to an end on Dec. 21. “This is a very exciting time in history,” Total’s Tammy Cecco told those in attendance. Total Vacations offers itineraries in the states of Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Tobasco, Campeche and Chiapas, all of which have reminders of the Maya civilization that can easily be viewed by tourists.
