DODGE HIGH FARES
Las Vegas-based Allegiant has rolled out a new summer promotional campaign that challenges travellers to “Dodge High Fares” and try its services. The campaign will also feature a series of television and radio ads and in July and August the “Dodge High Fares” campaign will be complemented by dodge ball tournaments across the US hosted by Allegiant, local airports (the carrier serves) and the National Dodgeball League. Rich Winiarski, vice-president of marketing for the Allegiant Travel Company, said: “We are quickly becoming the low-cost option for millions of vacation travellers each year, and this new campaign is an opportunity to showcase that.” Allegiant is the hometown airline of over 70 communities, providing service to vacation destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando and Hawaii. Winiarski noted as well that: “Just a short drive can save Canadians big money. We fly out of cities just south of the border including; Niagara, Bellingham, Plattsburgh, Minot and more. Our new campaign will give us the opportunity to educate Canadians about just how much they can save when booking with Allegiant.” And he pointed out that: “Allegiant consistently goes into new markets and accomplishes two things: we bring down the cost of vacation travel while simultaneously increasing the number of leisure travelers flying.” Go to http://www.allegiantair.com for more.
