Air France previews tasty new business class menu at TIFF

Air France recently offered a preview of the upcoming culinary creations in its Business Class on flights departing from Canada in presence of its Canadian ‘Chef Signature’, Olivier Perret.

Come Nov. 1, Chef Perret will curate all four main dishes offered in business class from all Canadian gateways to Paris. The chef’s current contribution, which consists of vegetarian and poultry options, will now include these meat and fish gourmet meals.

To create these menus dedicated for Air France customers, Chef Perret favours local and seasonal produce, adhering to the airline’s high standards. Originally from Burgundy, Olivier Perret is the chef at Renoir restaurant at the Sofitel Montréal Golden Square Mile hotel. He is a member of the prestigious Maîtres Cuisiniers de France organization, a Maple Ambassador, and a member of the Académie Culinaire de France.

“Having lived in Montreal for many years, I want to take Air France customers on a culinary journey with my cuisine, combining French gastronomy with fresh ingredients from Quebec and Canada,” Perret said.

These new meal options will be introduced at the beginning of the winter season, coinciding with the addition of three extra flights on the Toronto-Paris route, bringing the total to 10 flights per week compared to seven during winter 2023-2024.
