Emirates takes off with cross-Canada pilot recruitment roadshow

Emirates is revving up its recruitment efforts in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, with a pilot recruitment roadshow across the country to recruit experienced commercial pilots.

The upcoming roadshow will take place in Montreal at the Novotel Montreal Centre on July 14 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and on July 15 at 9:00 a.m.

In Toronto, the events will take place at the Novotel Toronto Centre on July 16 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and on July 17 at 9:00 a.m.

It will continue in Vancouver at The Westin Wall Centre Vancouver Airport on July 19 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and on July 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Recently Emirates announced significant changes to its pilot recruitment, including higher salaries, new roles and a radical change to eligibility.

Experienced pilots who are keen to join Emirates for roles in four programs: Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, First Officers Type Rated and Non-Type Rated.

They will have the opportunity to undergo robust in-house training at Emirates’ cutting-edge training facility and will also be based in the vibrant city of Dubai. We look forward to having more pilots from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver come onboard our airline, as we ramp up our operations globally.”

Prior registration is not required, and pilots are only required to attend one of the sessions.
