Transat expands winter schedule from Ontario, Quebec & Maritimes

Air Transat has increased its offer from Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes for the 2024-2025 winter season.

At the peak of the season, around 100 non-stop flights per week will be offered from Toronto, Ottawa and London to more than two dozen destinations covering the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, and Europe.

From Montreal and Quebec City, more than 170 non-stop flights per week will be offered to more than thirty destinations covering the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, Florida, Europe and North Africa.

Finally, from the Maritimes, non-stop flights will be offered from Halifax and Moncton to 10 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Florida.

Air Transat’s overall schedule will include nearly 300 non-stop flights per week from seven Canadian cities. In addition to Montreal and Quebec City, it will also offer flights from Toronto, Ottawa, London, Halifax and Moncton.

Ontario’s winter schedule

Air Transat offers a wide range of direct flights to sun destinations from Ontario.

From Toronto, the airline is increasing flight frequencies to key markets such as Cancun and Punta Cana, while adding capacity on high-potential routes such as San Jose. The airline also maintains its routes to other popular destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, ensuring flexible travel options for its customers.

It will also once again offer flights to its most popular sun destinations from Ottawa and London.

Departing from Toronto, Air Transat maintains its commitment to Europe by offering non-stop flights to six key destinations. The route to London Gatwick will benefit from an additional frequency, offering a daily service and strengthening the connection with the United Kingdom. Other European routes include flights to cities such as Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Glasgow and Manchester.

Quebec’s winter schedule

From Montreal, the airline is increasing flight frequencies to key markets such as Cancun and Punta Cana, while adding capacity on high-potential routes such as Fort-de-France, Saint-Martin and Lima. From Quebec City, Air Transat is increasing its flight frequencies to Holguin and offering a total of nine sun destinations, affirming its commitment to serving the needs of travellers in this region for southern destinations.

From Montréal, Air Transat will serve a total of seven transatlantic destinations non-stop. From Montreal, routes to Lisbon and Malaga will see an increase in frequencies, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to providing increased access to its most popular European destinations. In addition, routes from Montreal to Marseille and Lyon will benefit from improved capacity, thanks to the use of larger aircraft, thus making it possible to meet the growing demand for these French destinations. The annualization of the Montreal-Marrakech service will also allow for continuous exploration of Morocco throughout the year.

On the Québec City side, an additional frequency will be added to Paris, offering three direct flights per week and strengthening access to this emblematic destination.

Maritimes’ winter schedule

Air Transat continues to offer direct flights to selected sun destinations from Halifax and Moncton.

From Halifax, the airline is adding an additional frequency to Puerto Plata, strengthening its offer in the Caribbean. Other destinations, such as Cancún, Cayo Coco, Holguín, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Santa Clara, and Varadero, remain accessible.

From Moncton, Air Transat flies to popular destinations including Cancun, Punta Cana, and Varadero, offering a variety of choices for a relaxing vacation in the sun.

Air Transat is optimizing its routes to Florida, with an additional frequency from Halifax to Fort Lauderdale. Flights to Orlando from Halifax and Moncton remain, offering attractive options for family vacations or theme park getaways.
