Virginia Beach offering Canadians fun for less
Virginia Beach has been welcoming Canadians to its 60 kilometres of coastline for generations. On a visit, Canadians can explore its natural wonders, taste freshly-caught seafood and experience a vibrant oceanfront and arts district, and now they can enjoy some special savings as Virginia Beach rolls out its Virginia Beach Loonie Savers promotion just for Canadians.
Nancy Helman, Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau director, said: “Just in time for summer road trips, we’re excited to introduce even more fun, for fewer loonies,” “The Virginia Beach Loonie Savers promotion offers our Canadian visitors compelling discounts on accommodations, entertainment, attractions and dining to enjoy without breaking budgets.”
The 2024 Loonie Savers Pass is now available at www.VisitVirginiaBeach.com. It conveniently gathers exclusive offers and experiences from across the destination. After registering online, visitors simply access the mobile passport to tap into discounts and deals at attractions, retailers, hotels, and restaurants in the Virginia Beach area.
With nearly 50 offers already available, examples of savings include: buy one ticket, get one free from Rudee Tours dolphin watching cruises; $5 off General Admission to the Virginia Aquarium, which recently revealed a $40 million renovation and expansion; 10% off meals at Tides Coastal Kitchen; 15% off the rack rate at The Capes Ocean Resort, and so much more.
Said Helman: “Just a day’s drive from Quebec — and less than 12 hours from Toronto — Virginia Beach is the perfect destination for Canadians excited to explore.”
And she added: “Our city presents a wealth of appealing ways to unplug, reconnect, and savour all the best things travel has to offer, and we can’t wait to share them with our Canadian visitors.”
