Canada Jetlines launches non-stop flights from Toronto to Jamaica

Canada Jetlines recently launched a new twice-weekly service from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) to Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Jamaica.

The inaugural flight touched down in Montego Bay on Dec. 9.

Canada Jetlines will operate the new non-stop flight from Toronto Pearson to Montego Bay twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays, with a third weekly flight expected to launch in 2024.

“The arrival of Canada Jetlines’ inaugural flight into Montego Bay represents a significant milestone for both the airline and Destination Jamaica,” said Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism. “With the launch of this new service, we look forward to welcoming even more Canadian travellers this winter season to experience Jamaica’s vibrant tourism offerings. This new partnership will play a critical role in helping Jamaica achieve our ambitious target of attracting 500,000 annual visitors from Canada by 2023.”

“Canada Jetlines has shown tremendous support and confidence in the value of Jamaica’s tourism product and these new direct flights provide Canadian travellers with an affordable new opportunity to discover the island’s incredible attractions and people,” said Donovan White, Director of Tourism, Jamaica Tourist Board.
