Berry Named GM Americas For HX

Sheralyn Berry has been named General Manager for the Americas for HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions), and will take on her new role beginning Oct. 10, 2023.

Berry joins the company as it begins a new chapter as HX and her commitment to strategic partnership development with the hashtag#traveltrade underscores the company’s dedication to strengthening B2B sales in this key market.

“I am thrilled to join this incredible company and work with our trade partners and industry colleagues,” she noted. “This is a very exciting time to be joining Hurtigruten Expeditions and I am so happy to be a part of it.”

As President, Canada at Contiki Holidays, Berry oversaw strategic functions, including sales, marketing, e-commerce, PR, and customer service.

Prior to assuming the role of Contiki’s Director of Sales for Canada in 2012, she served as Regional Sales Director, Western Americas at G Adventures.

Based out of Toronto, Berry will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Her focus will be on expanding our market presence, increasing brand visibility, and forging stronger relationships with its valued travel partners.

HX reported that in the Americas, it has witnessed ten-fold revenue growth since 2019.
