Club Med has announced the addition of two new business development managers for Ontario.
Tyler Mattioli joins Club Med with over 10 years of tourism industry experience. Mattioli joins forces with Samantha Gillingham on the territory of Ontario, with a focus on new business development.
He started his travel career as a front-line agent with Flight Centre, where he spent his first five years. Later Mattioli joined ACV as an Area Sales Manager and most recently spent time with Air New Zealand as National Accounts Manager until COVID-19. He spent the last three years in the pharmaceutical space as a provincial sales manager but said he couldn’t be more excited to be back in the tourism industry, joining the team at Club Med as Business Development Manager for Ontario and the Maritimes.
Debbie Miller joins Club Med Meetings & Events with over 20 years of experience in destination sales. She is a client-centric sales professional. Formerly with Destination Toronto, Miller was the face of the Canadian corporate market. Armed with passion, authenticity, humour and product knowledge, she excelled in her role to grow brand awareness and build the visitor economy.
Commenting on her appointment, Miller observed: “I am looking forward to jumping into this new role with Club Med as BDM MICE for English Canada.” She is also a member of SITE, MPI, PCMA and Second City. Debbie replaces Maria Chung, who recently recently retired on July 31.
