There’s no doubt that the global pandemic has changed a lot of things, leading Jürgen Stütz, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Distribution for Blue Diamond Resorts, to observe: “The pandemic has changed us all in significant ways. It has given us time to reflect on what truly matters, leading to shifts in our needs, wants, and desires. We have reevaluated how we spend our time and who we prioritize in our lives and this has had a positive impact on the travel industry.”
As Stütz explains it: “One thing to emerge was the desire to have seamless travel experiences and knowing what to expect. The time not spent travelling and the desire to make up for lost time has translated into the demand for elevated experiences.”
And the result, he told Canadian Travel Press is that “the all-inclusive segment is changing to meet these evolving needs and it is no longer about cheap getaways and buffets, and one size fits all.”
