On The Road With Direct Travel/Vision Travel
Vision Travel is hosting a series of road show events in Ontario to kick things off in December.
The Direct Travel company will be in Ottawa on Dec. 1; Waterloo on Dec. 2; and Toronto on Dec. 3. Vision’s roadshow events will feature a trade show, cocktail reception and holiday themed dinners.
As many as 30 leisure and corporate preferred suppliers — including Air Canada and ACV; WestJet and WestJet Vacations; Enterprise Rent-A-Car; and the Globus family of brands — will showcase their products and services at the events.
The Ontario events follow the company’s road shows in Western Canada which took place in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Regina.
Brian Robertson, President of Direct Travel, Canada West, said: “This is the first time we have done the road show format and it’s proven a huge success.”
Noting that both supplier and advisor registrations sold out quickly – thanks to what is clearly pent-up demand – Robertson observed: “Our senior management are attending every show and meeting with all of our advisor and support teams, and it’s great to see everyone face-to-face. Our preferred partners are so motivated to meet our team members in person and many are celebrating that our sales numbers are surpassing 2019 numbers moving into 2023 and beyond.”
