The Zagreb Tourist Board has announced that the Festival of Lights Zagreb is back in 2022.

The Festival is a mix of design, architecture, and entertainment and allows one to see the world from a new perspective through the joy of light and will take place from March 16 to March 20, 2022.

Zagreb is a city designed to be enjoyed outdoors, and it is during spring when the days are longer, and all activities move outdoors. Citizens of Zagreb welcome another long-awaited season of social activities, whether it is hanging out or enjoying countless cups of coffee with friends, along with the cafes of the city squares and streets.

Zagreb’s first Festival of Lights took place in 2017. It was a four-day celebration that showcased attractive audiovisual installations and projections at seven different locations.

After its successful year, the Festival continued in 2018 and 2019, attracting more and more visitors until it had to be postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
