Sun Peaks keeps event heat on through fall

Lots of events at Sun Peaks are still to come, even though summer is winding down. New events spanning the spectrum from sports adventure to lifestyle and entertainment will take place, giving guests good reasons to visit Sun Peaks in the fall. For instance, barbecue and beer lovers can take in the Tod Mountain 50th Anniversary Reunion Finale BBQ (Sept. 8) and the Sun Peaks Oktoberfest (Sept. 29). Or those seeking an outdoors challenge can participate in the North Face Dirty Feet Mountain Run (Sept. 8) or the BC Masters Hill Climb (Sept. 23). The Classic Car Gathering runs Sept. 21-23 and the Women’s Wellness Weekend is Sept. 14-16. The Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course will remain open to Sept. 30 and guests can book fun fall activities like canoe and kayak rentals, Voyageur Canoe Tours, stand up paddle boarding, photo shoots and geocaching.
