As soon as Government on Canada announced the non-essential travel ban, I had a panicked student client of mine called me from Wuhan while they were there on a student exchange learning program. He was stuck there along with other students. After 5 attempts and numerous hours of calls with supplier partners, I was able to get him on a flight back from Wuhan.
When he reached Canada he was quarantined for 14 days in Trenton. On the 17th day, I got a note from his mother thanking me for everything I had done for him and I had put in hours of work with no compensation just to get the kid back home. They would now be a client for life and I was happy I was able to help him during such trying times.
