Wellness directs redesign at Renew Hotel
Waikiki’s original boutique hotel has revealed a comprehensive redesign and rebrand centered around local wellness. Formerly known as “Hotel Renew,” the 72-room property has been re-imagined for the lifestyle-conscious traveller with modern guest rooms, corridors, lobby and lobby bar – in addition to new amenities and experiences designed to connect guests to the local wellness community. Positioned at the eastern end of Waikiki, steps from Waikiki Beach, the Renew Hotel inspires guests to seek a deeper connection to Hawai’i and the Spirit of Aloha.
The property’s redesign and rebrand features a modern-meets-tropical design that is inspired by the natural colors of Hawai’i’s beaches and an earth-tone palette of terra-cotta, rose quartz, ocean blues and sandy neutrals.
The hotel’s new Wellness Concierge is on-hand to direct guests to the Island’s best wellness-minded restaurants, activities, shopping, parks and beaches. The Wellness Concierge can arrange activities through local philanthropic partner Travel2Change that offer the opportunity to give back to the Island, including a bicycle tour and beach cleanup, a kayak and snorkel excursion to restore Kāneʻohe Bay, and restoration of a historical fishpond, amongst other adventures.
