Visit California and 12 of its destination partners came together for an evening of cooking and conversation last night in Toronto. At interactive food stations filled with Golden State-inspired creations like pulled pork tacos and farm-to-table flatbread, guests and partners had the opportunity to talk about what’s hot and fresh in California. From Gold Country’s not-to-be-missed zinfandel, to Pasadena’s 11 Michelin star restaurants, to SLO CAL’s year round farmer’s market, to West Hollywood’s first cannabis restaurant opening this week, California’s diversity in food and wine doesn’t disappoint. Travellers headed to California can pick up the new 2019 Michelin Guide California which covers 657 restaurants, including 90 with Michelin stars.
