G Adventures, Thailand Partner Up


G Adventures, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have launched a program to raise awareness of Thailand, with the multi-channel program underway now and running through to June.

Aizaz Sheikh, Canadian marketing director for G Adventures, observed: “Thailand is a top destination among Canadians and one of G Adventures’ best-selling regions. No surprise given how varied the country is. From the beaches and temples to the wildlife and incredible food, there’s literally something for everyone.”

Puangpen Klanwari, director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Canada office, noted that: “Most first-time visitors are often drawn to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and many of the southern islands — and rightfully so as these areas have many unique and distinct characteristics about them — but they also make for great gateways to Thailand’s most amazing hidden gems.”

Klanwari continued: “What we love about G Adventures’ Thailand tours is that they not only take the visitors to well-known areas, but they also give visitors a chance to explore Thailand’s emerging destinations for a truly local experience. By exploring these regions, travellers will be able to discover how diverse Thailand really is.”

G Adventures will be promoting the new campaign its newsletter and website, and amplified it with online and social advertising.

To encourage bookings, agents’ clients can save 15% off select Thailand trips between May 14 – June 10, 2019.

And for every traveller booked on a Thailand trip during this period, agents will earn one entry into a draw to win a spot on G Adventures’ Northern Thailand Explorer tour (flights excluded).
