Travel Edge Promotes Chang to SVP, Finance
Travel Edge has announced the promotion of Grace Chang to senior vice-president, Finance, effective March 1.
Chang has served as VP, Finance, for the past year and in that time has made substantial improvements to the company’s financial management practises.
As senior vice-president, she will continue to oversee Travel Edge’s financial operations while building out new processes to support a thriving global business. Chang’s focus will include evolving the company’s treasury function, managing currency risk and improving merchant processing efficiencies.
“Since joining Travel Edge, I’ve had the opportunity of work with a highly collaborative and talented group of peers,” Chang said. “This is a very supportive organization and our rapid expansion provides many opportunities for growth. It starts at the top and trickles into all of our departments. We’re encouraged to keep learning and make bold decisions.”
In the past year, Chang has led her team through a series of challenging projects and has streamlined processes that have unlocked millions of dollars in value for the company.
Chang’s appointment follows the recent announcement of Michael Johnson joining as senior vice-president of Leisure, along with other distinctive executive hires from outside the travel industry, including recent additions to marketing, advisor services, supplier relations and technology.
