Maritime Travel has appointed Vaughan Payne as vice-president, Business Travel Management, Western Canada.

In this role his main responsibilities will be the delivery of strategic sales growth and savings opportunities to corporate clients within Western Canada and providing support, information, and guidance to each of the corporate clients within his portfolio.

Payne comes to Maritime Travel with more than 30 years of experience working within corporate travel management, initially in management roles with major Canadian oil and gas companies, progressing to senior roles with major US and Canadian TMC’s. His career highlights include growth ratios that out-performed competition in the travel management services arena, and he and his teams have delivered over $100 million in sales three consecutive times.

He will be based in Calgary.
