GO Transit Niagara Service Is Back
Get the family to Ontario’s Niagara region is easy with the return of GO Transit service from Toronto, starting this weekend (May 18-21) and available every weekend from June 22 to Sept. 3, as well as over the Thanksgiving weekend, from Oct. 5-8.
Three Niagara-bound trips and four Toronto-bound trips will run on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and there will be one trip in each direction on Fridays. Trains running on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays during the summer months will feature two to four bike cars with room for 18 bikes on each. Additionally, three coaches will have seat covers, and these coaches can hold 16 bikes each.
Metrolinx is once again partnering with the Niagara Parks Commission to make it easy to experience the fun and excitement of the Niagara Region. GO Niagara travel package can be purchased online at niagaraparks.com for $30 per person and $60 for a group.
GO customers wanting to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake can take the train to Niagara Falls and use express WEGO bus service to complete their journey.
