Ensemble Appointment

Ensemble Travel Group has announced the appointment of industry veteran Don Kennedy to the executive position of vice-president, business development, North America.

Kennedy will oversee new member growth and retention in Canada and the US and manage a sales team aligned to deliver value to its shareholders and preferred partners.

Kennedy’s more than 25 years in the travel and hospitality industry have encompassed a variety of management roles, ranging from strategic planning and field team leadership to new market/new business development and account relationship management, including both national and global responsibilities. His most recent positions include senior vice-president of strategy at Toronto-based Corporate Travel Management Solutions (ctms) and senior vice-president of business development at TRAVELSAVERS.

Other management appointments include Travel Leaders Associate Division (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel) where he was vice-president of associate division, Travel and Transport as general manager of leisure operations, and AAA as district manager for a club in the Midwest.

Kennedy will begin his new role on April 6.
